- ➤ Southwestern Michigan Urban League is launching its Rebuilding Hope, Restoring Opportunities financial literacy program for 600 local youth and adults, with recruitment in January and workshops in February – to build practical skills in banking, budgeting and homeownership. - ➤ On Wednesday, Congressman Bill Huizenga nominated 14 students from west and southwest Michigan for U.S. Service Academies for the class of 2030; his office noted the nomination does not guarantee admission (students include candidates from Holland Christian and Mattawan High among local schools). 102.7 WFAT
