  • Dozens of visually impaired campers were stranded when Amtrak canceled their train from a winter camp near Battle Creek last Sunday. Organizers said only one bus arrived (instead of the five promised), leaving some without proper transport.  FOX 17

  • Harper Creek freshman Grayson Damron was named Bronson Battle Creek Athlete of the Week after winning his 106-pound weight class at the Interstate 8 Conference championships on Feb. 7. He holds a 40-2 record after beating Braxton Stoyk by technical fall in the finals.  Battle Creek Enquirer
