- ➤ KCC faculty and guest artists will perform a free recital at 3 p.m. Feb. 28 in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center auditorium, featuring classical pieces by Mozart and Dvořák — recent works by KCC musicians will also be showcased. Battle Creek Enquirer

- ➤ Stronger winds on Tuesday cleared some pollutants from the Lower Peninsula, yet areas maintained moderate air quality that could affect sensitive groups (including those with asthma). HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and the Southwestern Michigan Urban League are launching free health clinics that will be held every other Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at 172 Van Buren St. (Each clinic will cover topics such as high blood pressure and nutrition) and will include screenings by WMed Family Medicine residents (light snacks will be offered).
