- ➤ Holtec International is set to restart the 800-megawatt Palisades Nuclear Plant along Lake Michigan later this year while applying for NRC approval to build a 680-megawatt small modular reactor facility (which experts say may be operational in 2032) to boost Michigan’s clean energy supply.
