  • Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office will enforce a 'Move Over or Get Pulled Over' campaign during March to ensure drivers follow safe lane-changing rules when approaching emergency vehicles — a grant-funded effort protecting responders countywide.  102.7 WFAT
  • A bipartisan group of attorneys general and the FTC reached a $100 million settlement over Walmart’s Spark delivery program misrepresenting driver tip payments, with Michigan drivers set to receive up to $890,000. HEALTH NEWS

  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration classified a recall on Feb. 24 for 55,689 pounds of frozen blueberries, including shipments to Michigan, due to possible listeria contamination. The product was shipped by the Oregon Potato Company and is not available in retail stores.  Battle Creek Enquirer

SPORTS NEWS

  • Marshall secured its second straight district title over Pennfield on Friday, Feb. 27 when Erwin scored a late dunk to break a 59 to 56 tie at Pennfield High; the team will face Chelsea in the Division 2 regional semifinal on Tuesday, Mar. 3.  Battle Creek Enquirer
  • St. Philip won its first district title in boys basketball since 2014 after defeating Climax-Scotts 67-59 in double overtime at Climax-Scotts High School on Friday, Feb. 27. They will face Lawrence at 7 p.m. Tuesday in a Division 4 regional semifinal.  Battle Creek Enquirer
