- ➤ Today, the Michigan Natural Resources Commission starts a new coyote management season to address overabundance. The revised rules set hunting and trapping from Oct. 15 to March 1 and limit state park hunting (April 1–Sept. 14) and dog hunts (April 16–July 7). Battle Creek Enquirer
