- ➤ Public safety officers from across West Michigan played a charity hockey game Saturday at Lawson Arena—bringing together teams from Kalamazoo, Portage and Battle Creek to raise funds and awareness for more than 140 families facing ALS. Ann Arbor’s Fraser Wolverines won a close match at 11 to 8 while the event raised over $4,000 for the Susan Mast ALS Foundation. FOX 17
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Doctors in Michigan will no longer have to disclose a mental health history on their license applications if state House bill 4277 is approved. The new form will ask if a doctor poses a risk to patient safety—State Representative Matthew Bierline introduced the bill last week. Michigan Public Radio
