Low-flying helicopters will map geology and aquifers in 16 counties starting this month until summer for a study to update our understanding of groundwater reserves.

FOX 17 and Detroit Sportsnet announced they will air select Detroit Tigers games during the 2026 season.
The season opener aired yesterday on FOX 17’s Antenna TV (a subchannel), with nine more games scheduled between April 16 and September 23.
Former West Michigan Whitecaps player Kevin McGonigal is making his Tigers debut today in Detroit against Saint Louis.
The promising hitter is batting .364 (six games into the season) after a championship run with the Whitecaps.
