- ➤ Yesterday, Battle Creek issued a public notice about elevated TTHM levels (total trihalomethanes) in Emmett Township and parts of Pennfield Township; officials stressed that drinking water remains safe for normal use and said they will update customers within 24 hours if water quality changes.
