- ➤ A 33-year-old Union City man died Friday night on I-94 near the Capital Avenue exit in Battle Creek when his Ford pickup crossed into the wrong lane and rolled onto its roof at about 10:15 p.m.—rescue crews responded, and the crash remains under investigation. Battle Creek Enquirer

- ➤ A man reportedly driving recklessly crashed his minivan into a home on Upton Avenue in Battle Creek and trapped a 70-year-old woman in her upstairs bedroom until firefighters rescued her through a window — the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment and later jailed on DUI charges. FOX 17
