GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Crews will begin construction on 6 Mile Road in Newton and Leroy townships on April 20, kicking off an eight week closure for a $1.5 million upgrade that will reshape the road and add paved shoulders. Battle Creek Enquirer

- ➤ Baseball is a hit at Kellogg Community College as the Bruins ended a 23-game streak on Monday, April 13 when head coach Eric Laskovy earned his 700th win in an 18-4 victory over Jackson College.
