ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Before 5 a.m. Thursday, crews pulled a car from a large sinkhole on Parson Ave in Garfield Township — the driver remained uninjured and the sinkhole was noted as one of the largest since 1986. FOX 17
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners will host its 26th Anniversary Wednesday Night Cruise-In on May 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with classic cars, live music, and food — the event runs weekly through Sept. 30. Battle Creek Enquirer
- ➤ Patrick Hershberger — known as Go Bonus Saves — will give a free lecture at Kellogg Community College on May 8 at 2 p.m. in the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center auditorium at 450 North Ave, where he will discuss his mural work and answer audience questions. Battle Creek Enquirer
