ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday morning near Marshall on I-94, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office reported that alcohol was a factor in a wrong-way crash when a highly-intoxicated 50-year-old man from Lansing drove his pickup truck into another car; both passengers in the other vehicle were injured and taken to the hospital while eastbound lanes remained closed overnight. - ➤ A 50-year-old Lansing man drove the wrong way on I-94 near Battle Creek at 3:20 a.m. on April 22 and struck another vehicle, injuring two people, before police arrested him for high intoxication and later reopened the eastbound lanes. Battle Creek Enquirer

- ➤ The U.S. Department of Education will resume involuntary collections on May 5 by garnishing paychecks—targeting borrowers who have missed payments for 270 days or more and affecting Michigan's 1.3 million indebted residents.
