- ➤ City water crews in Battle Creek will begin the annual hydrant flushing process tomorrow, May 4, working overnight from 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. until the three‐week process is complete — residents may notice cloudy water and should run cold water taps if needed. City of Battle Creek
- ➤ Michigan flags are at half staff today to honor U.S. Army Staff Sgt Troy S. Knutson-Collins from Battle Creek who died in a training accident in Lithuania — officials said the flags will be raised to full staff later today. Battle Creek Enquirer
