EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Battle Creek residents can join a free Corrections Connect Training Program at Kellogg Community College's Regional Manufacturing Technology Center at 405 Hill Brady Road starting Monday, May 26; classes run from 1 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays until July 24. The 10-seat program prepares eligible participants for employment with the Michigan Department of Corrections by offering technical training, career coaching, and workplace essential courses. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ EPA awarded a $1.5 million grant to Calhoun County’s Land Bank Authority for environmental assessments and planning—supporting projects in Battle Creek, Albion and other county areas.
