- ➤ An 18-year-old from Battle Creek was bound over to face trial at Kalamazoo County Circuit Court on open murder, felony firearm and carrying a concealed weapon charges from the April 12 incident that fatally shot security guard Montine Wiley at a club shortly before 11:00 p.m.—two others were also charged. 102.7 WFAT
- ➤ A Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a dog when it lunged at him near Swift Road in Pennfield Township after several reports of aggressive Pit Bulls around 5:11 p.m. on Friday—an incident now under administrative review. WOOD TV
