- ➤ A woman was shot near Gorsline Road in Pennfield Township Tuesday night around 8 p.m. and is in critical condition at a local hospital while sheriff's officers hold one person on unrelated charges & the motive remains unknown. 102.7 WFAT
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Michigan Department of Natural Resources reminded residents that Three Free weekend will allow free fishing, off-road trails riding, and state park entry statewide on June 7 and 8 — the event also waives the Recreation Passport fee for park and boating access. FOX 17
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital is expanding its West Patient Tower with a $4.5 million project to complete the unfinished sixth floor—adding 28 beds, gyms, and day rooms to handle growing demand. The expansion will create 40 new jobs and is expected to be finished in February 2026 while construction of a children’s hospital will be completed in fall 2026. FOX 17
