CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police responded to an overnight shooting on South 22nd Street in Battle Creek just after 2 a.m. Wednesday and found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound who later died at the hospital—detectives arrested a 36-year-old man involved in a heated argument over another person. FOX 17
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ The Calhoun County Land Bank Authority broke ground on two new two-bedroom homes at 82 and 126 Greenwood Ave in Battle Creek that will be available for sale to buyers earning 60% or less of the Area Median Income.
