- ➤ A suspected drunk driver flipped a car in a parking lot near +Irving Park Drive and Parkway Drive+ just after 1 a.m., killing an 18-year-old man and critically injuring a 17-year-old girl when both were thrown from the vehicle, and police arrested the driver on charges of operating while intoxicated and reckless driving. - ➤ Michigan dog mushers Destinee Kiel and Danielle Usher will race their teams in the dryland world championships in Minocqua, Wisconsin from October 21—26; Kiel will drive a three-wheel rig on a 3.1-mile course while Usher steers a scooter on a 2.4-mile course.
