- ➤ The Franke Center for the Arts has started its annual fundraising campaign to support music, theater and arts education in Marshall and Calhoun County. - ➤ On Saturday, Harper Creek's Ella Laupp and Lakeview's Raegan Magnus earned all-state honors at the high school swimming championships in Holland. Laupp, a sophomore who finished third in the 200 freestyle (she broke her school record) and sixth in the 500 freestyle, showed a strong performance while Magnus became the first Lakeview swimmer to earn state honors in girls swimming since 2022.
