- ➤ Michigan Public released a list of holiday events across the state (Dec. 5–7). In Battle Creek, the free International Festival of Lights will brighten Michigan Avenue until Dec. 31. Michigan Public Radio
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Regional gas prices fell to an average of $2.74 per gallon on Monday, down from $2.86 last week, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). A year ago, prices were 6% higher and the Midwest average is about 8% below the national price. Battle Creek Enquirer

- ➤ MDOT awarded $3.9M in grants to improve local roads, including resurfacing Union Street from M-66 to Interstate 94 Business Loop in Battle Creek.
