- ➤ God's Kitchen of Michigan is offering Free Community Christmas Dinners on Dec. 17 & 18 for residents. Meals with fried chicken, ham & sides will be served at churches in Battle Creek on Wednesday and at Kanley Chapel in Kalamazoo on Thursday, with each child receiving a free toy. - ➤ Elizabeth Schultheiss, vice president at Battle Creek Community Foundation, will join the Kellogg fellowship next month as one of 80 leaders driving change for children and families in our community.
