- ➤ Ford is shifting its electric vehicle strategy for the F-150 Lightning by adding Extended Range EV technology—this move will bring thousands of new jobs including work at its Marshall plant. - ➤ Battle Creek officials announced holiday schedule changes. City Hall closes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today for a holiday potluck while administrative offices close on Christmas Eve and Christmas and bus services, the recreation center and trash pickups follow adjusted hours through Jan. 1. - ➤ Battle Creek area high school volleyball players earned all-state honors from the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association yesterday. Harper Creek junior Camille Robinson tallied 541 kills + 77 aces as players from Marshall, Bronson and St. Philip also received recognition in various divisions. Battle Creek Enquirer
