Battle Creek residents can use the 88,000 sqft Full Blast Recreation Center under new summer hours, open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays while closed Sundays; nearby Flash Flood Waterpark will open Memorial Day weekend for seasonal fun.

Delta Air Lines announced it will end food and beverage service on flights 349 miles or less starting May 19; roughly 450 daily flights serving Michigan airports — including stops in Lansing, Traverse City, and Grand Rapids — will no longer offer snacks and drinks for passengers on short trips.
