- ➤ Gas prices in the Midwest rose last week with the average for regular fuel reaching $3.03 per gallon on Monday — up from $2.99 the week before, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, May 6, Battle Creek voters passed a bond proposal with 56% support to provide $27.5M for Battle Creek Public Schools; the funds will be used to upgrade buildings and improve school safety without raising debt millage rates.
